Offshore Gambling is an independent review site built for US bettors trying to work out which offshore sportsbooks are actually worth using on a phone. We don't operate a sportsbook, take a single wager, or hold anyone's money. What we do is research offshore betting sites — their odds, their mobile apps and mobile browser experience, their bonuses, their banking options and their track record on payouts — and lay the findings out plainly so you can decide for yourself where, and whether, to bet.

Why we focus on mobile

Most offshore sports betting today happens on a phone, not a desktop, so that's the lens we use. A site can list wide market coverage and generous limits, but if the mobile app is slow to load a live line, or the mobile browser buries same-game parlays three menus deep, that matters more to most readers than a feature they'll never use. Our comparisons weigh how each book performs on a phone: app stability, bet-slip speed, live and in-play betting responsiveness, and how easy it is to deposit or request a withdrawal without switching to a desktop.

What "offshore" means, and what it doesn't

Every book we cover is licensed outside the US — typically in jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica — and none is licensed or regulated by any US state. That distinction matters. These sites operate in a legal grey area for US bettors: they accept US players, but they sit outside the consumer protections that come with a state-regulated sportsbook. There's no state gaming commission to hear a dispute, no segregated player-fund requirement enforced by US law, and no guarantee that a payout request is honored on time or at all. We say this plainly on every review because it's the single most important thing a reader needs to understand before signing up anywhere. We'd also encourage anyone reading to check their own state's current laws, since the legal landscape around online betting keeps shifting.

How we put the rankings together

Our methodology looks at the same set of factors across every book we review, so the comparisons on this site are consistent rather than cherry-picked:

• Odds and pricing across point spreads, moneylines, totals, props and futures
• Breadth of sports and markets, including live and in-play betting
• Mobile app and mobile browser performance
• Welcome bonus terms — the rollover requirements, minimum odds and time limits, not just the headline figure
• Deposit and withdrawal methods, including card, wire and cryptocurrency, plus stated payout speed and any fees
• Verification (KYC) requirements and how heavily they're enforced
• Site security, customer support responsiveness and general reputation for paying out

We score each book against these criteria and rank accordingly. Commission from any operator, where it applies, never buys a higher position — a book pays the same whether it sits first or last on the list, and where a bonus or feature falls short, we say so.

What we won't do

We won't tell you betting is a reliable way to make money, and we won't present any tip, pick or "system" as a guaranteed winner — because there isn't one. Betting carries a real risk of losing money, and with offshore books there's an added risk that a payout gets delayed, disputed or refused, since no US regulator is standing behind the transaction. If you choose to fund an account with cryptocurrency, that adds a further layer of price volatility on top of the betting risk itself.

We also don't write for, or about, anyone under 21. Every offshore sportsbook we cover requires players to meet that age minimum, and this site is not intended for a younger audience.
